[CESG] SEA Resolution - SEA-R-2024-04-01 Request Agency Review of CCSDS 311.0-M-2, Reference Architecture for Space Data Systems, Pink 2

The CCSDS Systems Engineering Area (SEA),



CONSIDERING that the Systems Architecture Working Group (SAWG) has:

o Produced and reached consensus on the updated version of the draft Reference Architecture for Space Data Systems Magenta Book, and

o Reached consensus on requesting Agency Review of Issue 2 of this Magenta Book, and

o Provided the draft document and associated original graphical materials which the SEA AD has reviewed and approves.


RESOLVES to request CMC to approve release of the “Reference Architecture for Space Data Systems” CCSDS 311.0-M Magenta Book Issue 2 for Agency Review.

RECOMMENDS that CESG and CMC approve this resolution and, finally

REQUESTS that CESG and CMC polls be conducted to accomplish this.
