All,

Please review the attached Green Book, which will be discussed at the
SIS Mars Interopperability WG meeting in Washington DC on Wed March
12. This book draws heavily from Proximity-1 and other link layer
protocols so your review is appreciated.

best regards,

Greg

>Dear SLS WG chairs,
>Please have a look at this draft GB or forward it to some experts of your WG.
>Please forward rids to me by 28 Feb.
>Have a look in particular on section 4.
>
>I have personnaly a concern on the content of the book as a green book:
>In the origin, GBs were supporting BBs by providing background info. Later
>on, they became some kind of preparatory books for future BBs. See for
>instance GBs on security.
>This book is yet of another category: something between magenta (recommended
>practice), GB and what we could call applications profiles. Actually, it is
>being given a GB reference but in section 1.1 it is said that it will "take
>the form of recommended practices".
