[Sls-rng] RE : [Sls-rfm] dates for the Fall 2005 meeting

Dear all,
 
Without being completly sure (financial limitations for missions) that I could attend to this meeting (unless the ranging but also the synchronisation and coding WGs and BOF also meet during this week), I suggest also the Enrico's proposal Nov 29 to Dec 2 as a good compromise.
 
I will try my best to represent CNES there.
Alenia (Rome) or ESOC (Darmstadt) is equal with a preference for Rome unless all appreciate snow...
 
Waiting for the finalisation of those logistics problems and hoping to see you soon in Toulouse for the X band workshop (June 22 to 24)

Dear All, 

I know that our Fall meeting is still far away. However, I need to freeze the dates in order to commit rooms and other facilities and to get the Area Director's approval. 

In our WGs, 6 US members attend the meetings regularly while other 3 members only attend occasionally. 

Out of the 6 regular members only 4 replied to the question below as follows; 

2 supported Nov. 29- Dec 2 
1 supported Nov. 16-Nov 18 
1 proposed a date in October 

It seems, therefore, that the initial choice was unfortunate! 
While October is out due to SFCG-25, Nov. 16-18 may present logistics problems. Could I get the view of the two participating members who have not replied yet? 

I would like to fix the dates this week so as to try to arrange the logistics.

Dear All, 

during the Athens meeting I proposed Nov. 21-25 for our meetings to be held somewhere in Europe. The reasons behind this choice are the SFCG-25 in China in October and the ITU WP7B meeting in Geneva that ends on November 14 (Monday!) 
Nobody opposed my proposal. 

Working on the minutes of the meeting, I have just discovered that Nov. 24 is Thanksgiving and therefore that the US members of our WGs may not be able to attend. 

Please let me know if we can maintain such date or an alternate date like Nov. 29 (Tuesday)-Dec. 2 would be a better choice. Possible venues are ESOC in Germany or Alenia in Rome.
