Dear Ken and Victor,
concerning the update I have just a small question:
In the chapter for the Turbo codes it is reported:
We conclude that a burst with a fractional length p> sqrt( (v+2)/k) is
likely to contain a
stopping set
where k is the code length. Does it mean that Turbo codes with shorter
code block are more resilient to longer (fractional) burst?
Thanks in advance,
Regards
Andrea

Subject: [SLS-CC] TM coding Green Book: review of material on burst
noise and turbo code - deadline in 2 weeks
Sent by: "SLS-CC" <sls-cc-bounces at mailman.ccsds.org>
Dear colleagues,
this morning the WG took the action of reviewing the proposed material on
turbo codes under burst noise conditions, (pg 14-16 of the pdf) to be
added to
the TM coding Green book.
Comments, if any, are due by 6 November 2019 (2 weeks). Following the
deadline, I will proceed asking for a resolution for the publication of
the TM Green Book
Best regards,
Massimo
