In the unsubstantiated hope that both the CESG and the CMC can agree to publish something, namely the Technical Corrigendum to the Space Packet Protocol, attached is a resolution to dissolve the SPP WG. As the CCSDS Technical Editor has rightly noted, the number of days when the SIS AD actually pops out of his hole and submits resolutions is very limited, and affected by whether he sees his shadow, so with that in mind, here is a resolution to dissolve the SPP WG in the hope that the Corrigendum is agreed to and published. To the CCSDS Secretariat: Please hold this resolution until the Corrigendum is published or Hell freezes over, whichever comes first.
Thanks,
Bob
SIS-R-2010-08-005
The Space Internetworking Services Area,
CONSIDERING that the Technical Corrigendum to CCSDS 133.0-B-1 has been approved for publication by the CMC, and
RECOGNIZING that this concludes the approved work of the Space Packet Protocol Working Group, therefore
RESOLVES that the SPP Working Group be dissolved.
