Hi Tomaso,

The version I sent on 10 May has the track changes/comments minus RID 115 (see attached).
I was under the impression that the only RIDs that were not accepted by the originators were the new RIDs received when I became book manager.
I did receive concurrences on those, but I will take an action to verify all the RID responses are accepted by the originators.

Hi Jonathan,

Thank you for sharing the current version of the excel RID and new version of the book. Just two clarifications:


  1.  Is there also a word version in track/changes to better show the changes that were done with respect to the version pre-review agency 1.
  2.  Were the proposed changes stated in the RIDs accepted by the RIDs originators? I see most are coming from people usually present in our DTN WG telco, but others (like from CNES or Daniel Pettitt from ESA) are not participating to our telcos and we should make sure they are ok with how the RIDs have been implemented (or rejected).

Creation Timestamp Sequence Number Clarification
The creation timestamp shall comprise the bundle creation time and the creation timestamp sequence number.
The creation timestamp shall comprise the bundle creation time and the creation timestamp sequence number.

NOTE: Implementations may choose to use the source node id and the creation timestamp sequence number. However, a global counter or a separate counter for each fully qualified source node ID is possible.
Without this wording there is enough ambiguity to allow for implementors to either associate the sequence number of the creation timestamp to a global counter which is the intent or on a per service basis potentially leading to unintended behavior.
