[Sis-csi] 20060316 Telecon notes

OK, I ripped out some of the comments (actually, leaving them in
wouldn't have hurt much); the document name/version are unchanged (not
enough to warrant updating the version, IMHO).

I'm fine with extra comments to help clarify changes people make to the
document, and my personal taste says that Word Comments are a pretty
good way to do that. They're easier to see and rip out later than
footnotes, e.g.

As for building the punch-list, yeah, I think just a separate list,
without trying to do anything to the document, is a better way to go.

I added those comments because I wanted everyone to see
rationale for the changes I made (lack of confidence in my changes, I'm
sure). It might be good if you told folks whether you want them to put
things like that in comments, or don't put them in, or whatever.

Also, how do you want the "punch list" of changes? Plain old
tablular list in an email or word document? Or in the document with
track changes turned on? Might be good to broadcast that to the team.

Keith, when you accepted all changes, that didn't
delete comments. There are a bunch of my comments for rationale for
things that were deleted, etc., so you can delete most, if not all,
comments as well. Especially the ones that are incomplete, and say
"finish later". (meaning finish writing the comment later, which I
never did). Not sure if there's a fast way to delete all comments.

IVODS (Internet voice distribution service) was going
to use multicast but it didn't work out. Something about having to
write custom software? They went will multiple unicasts instead.
Knowing why this failed would be interesting, especially for the Red
book(s).

Keith Hogie -- tie in to how missions work today

We need to be sure we cover how missions would do
what missions do today with this architecture

[I think some of this is in section 5 -- Ops
concepts. We need to see what's NOT covered and get it on the list.]

Scott has volunteered to write the translunar section

Keith S. needs to write / clean up the QoS section and
add an Ops Concepts section using it.

		===========

Plan is for everybody to generate a 'punch list' of
what they think needs to be addressed to finish this document off by
next week's telecon. This will be the 'feature freeze' point and
afterwards we'll work through the punch list until we get to the point
it can go out for balloting.

		I put a new version on CWE that resets track changes;
it's slightly smaller
