[Sea-sa] Updates to CCSDS ASL GB from 13 Aug 19 telecon

Dear SEA SAWG Colleagues,

Several of us met today to review the updates made to the latest version of the CCSDS Application and Support Layer (ASL) Green Book.  There was complete agreement on the proposed set of changes and on the next steps.  The following action items were identified, in order:


  1.  Peter to finish revising the document, with the exception of Sec 9.5 that is waiting on Wilmot & Merri to reach consensus on the "three cases". (Done, 13 Aug19)
  2.  Peter to provide notes in MS Word comments about the documents that need to be referenced in various sections of the document. (Done, 13 Aug19)
  3.  Roger to perform his magic to get all of the references to documents, section, and figures to line up with current document content.
  4.  Roger to fix the Service tables in Sec 6, they need to be formatted for Letter/Landscape and not for A4.
  5.  Roger to upload his final versions of the source files for the MOIMS figures to the CWE.
  6.  Ray to work with Wilmot and Rakow to clarify the intent of the SOIS WGs in regard the issues identified in Sec 5.3 (SOIS info), Sec 5.3.5.2 & 5.3.5.3 (SOIS Flow-ID & subnet).
  7.  Ray to propose, for Sec 9.3, a set of definitions for "constellation", "federation", "fractionated" spacecraft and to use these to develop a small set of SOIS relevant figures as examples.
  8.  Ray to upload his final versions of the source files for the OIS figures to the CWE.
  9.  Peter to edit Sec 9.5 once the feedback from Wilmot and Merri is in hand.
  10. Peter to upload his final versions of the source files for the Sec 9.5 figures to the CWE.
  11. Peter to check with the CCSDS CTE (Tom Gannett) to determine if the current form of the document is acceptable or if we need to pour it into the standard CCSDS GB template.
