A MESSAGE FROM THE CCSDS SECRETARIAT AND SECRETARIAT SUPPORT

(Embedded image moved to file: pic00322.gif)

Dear CCSDS Community:

As many of you know, for the past few weeks the CCSDS has been transitioning
responsibilities related to CCSDS Secretariat and technical area support from
former contractor GST, Inc. to the new support contractor, BTAS, Inc. (BTAS),
headquartered in Dayton, Ohio. I thank you for your patience and understanding
during the transition.

Secretariat and technical area support roles filled by BTAS employees include
technical editing, administrative support, public affairs and outreach support,
web development, and engineering support. Currently, there are six (6) BTAS
employees tasked with supporting the efforts of the CCSDS Secretariat, with one
assigned to a field office in Tennessee, two (2) assigned to BTAS Headquarters
in Ohio, and three (3) assigned to a central office located in Greenbelt,
Maryland. Close to NASA Headquarters and NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, the
Greenbelt location should allow the entire team to respond expeditiously to the
diverse needs of the Secretariat.

The physical address of the new central support office is the following:

CCSDS Secretariat Support / BTAS, Inc.
          6301 Ivy Lane, Suite 720
