[MOIMS-NAV-EXEC] Simple Report on Nav WG books / October 2020

Per your request, here is the "simple report" on Nav WG projects in progress as of 07-Oct-2020, after our telecon today.

502.0 Orbit Data Message (ODM): Version 3 updates are in progress. Pink Book version P2.40 was distributed early this week and discussed in today's telecon. The document is converging. Internal review will start immediately. Test Plan discussions have started and will be previewed at the Fall Meetings. Updates to some new CCSDS Normative Annexes in the SANA Registries referenced by the ODM remain deprioritized for the short term, but should recommence soon.

504.0 Attitude Data Messages (ADM): Version 2 updates are in progress. The internal review of the version P1.10 draft was completed at end of September. XML work for the new message it contains will commence now that the ODM/XML work is completed.

505.0 Navigation Data Messages XML Specification (NDM/XML): Secretariat document processing was completed and the CESG Poll for Agency review has commenced. The CESG Poll completes 14-Oct-2020 and will hopefully be followed right away by the CMC Poll (my hope is that the CMC Poll is not delayed by the upcoming Fall Meetings schedule).

507.0 Navigation Events Message (NEM): Distribution of the first NEM White Book continues to be delayed. The NEM has the same Lead Editor as the ADM Version 2 update, which has higher priority.

508.0 Conjunction Data Message (CDM):  A first Pink Book draft P1.0.1 is anticipated for discussion at the Fall 2020 Meetings. First draft changes are about 80% complete.

509.0 Pointing Request Message (PRM): A set of Corrigenda has been prepared and is still being worked at ESA prior to submitting to the MOIMS Area Director. This should be ready around the time the Fall Meetings end.

Recently published standards/other documents with no action necessary: 500.0 Navigation Data - Definitions and Conventions Green Book V.2, 500.2 Navigation Data Messages Overview - Green Book V.4, 503.0 Tracking Data Message (TDM) V.2, 508.1 Re-Entry Data Message (RDM).
