Dear DAI WG Team,

 

as discussed in the last Skype call, please find my list of comments or
items to be checked in the final version of the OAIS reviewed document.

Please note that my comments are related to the printed out copy of the
version with file name "OAIS final v3 clean draft-20190904.docx" .

In the printed out copy there are still some comments of your changes.

 

Some errors arose because you may have needed to update the
cross-references.

 

Page vii please check table of content in the printed out version

update the cross-references

Page ix in the list of tables  for table 4-1 an error bookmark not defined
appears

update the cross-references

Page 1-6 add acronyms CPU (ref page 5-13), ID (ref page 5-4) , TAR (ref.
page 4-35) , add TCP/IP, HTTP, USB (ref. page 6-2)

OKK except TAR, which is not now an acronym

Page 1-7 in 1.6.2 please check the Access Functional Entity definition with
the first sentence in 4.1 (pages 4-1, 4-2) some incongruences exist like
contains instead of provides etc.

Changed "contains" to "provides"

Page 1-8 please check Administration Functional Entity definition with the
first sentence in 4.1  some incongruences exist like contains instead of
provides etc.

Page 3-3 please check the sentence Digital Migration issues are addressed
more fully in 5.15.1 ( I have not found this paragraph in the document)

There were two references to 5.1 - I removed one of these.

Page 4-19 in the sentence "the Generate DIP .. " change AIPS with AIPs.

Page 4-30 change the text between () from Subsection 5.2 (Preservation .) to
Subsection 5.2 (Adding Representation Information)

Page 4-33 in correspondence of reference D2 an error appears, the same in
correspondence of the table in annex B

Page 4-35 an error in the label of the Table -1 Examples of PDI appears

Page 4-37 change Figure 4 14 in 4-14

Page 5-14 the matrix is without number of table

I added a number and caption 

Page 6-3 the sentence "Distributed Digital Preservation ." why digital
preservation appears as deleted?

Yes - someone changed the font rather than delete

Page D-1 in the printed out copy all the references from [D1]  to [D9] have
an error, only [D10] is correctly printed.

update the cross-references

Page F-1 Again the reference to the CCSDS Information Report [D9] is
displayed with an error.

update the cross-references
