I believe that this responds to Mark's and John's comments apart from John's
suggestion to delete a bullet in section 1.1.

The term "Information Area" has been changed to "Information Topic". This
allows us to omit mention of "Knowledge Area" which PMBOK uses. We did talk
about just using Topic but to put that in the Glossary seemed too general. 

 

I've added "Project Phase" - copying the PMBOK definition, and re-drawn the
diagram Mark added.

 

By the way, I looked through the PMBOK book and although it is not in the
glossary, PMBOK says "Knowledge Areas represent a complete set of concepts,
terms, and activities that make up a professional field, project, management
field, or area of specialisation". I've added "Information Topic" to the
Glossary - hope you like the definition proposed.

 

The capitalisation should now be consistent.
