[Css-csts] Update to MD-CSTS Pink Book, FF-CSTS Errata book, and FRM

In the process of updating the TD-CSTS Pink Book, I have come across a few minor errors in the MD-CSTS Pink Book that I posted on CWE in July, and related errors in the FF-CSTS Blue Book. I have not yet finished my update of the TD book, so may discover more errors. But I know that some of you are beginning the review the updated MD-CSTS book, so I have posted an update on the CWE at

If I come across any other errors in the MD book, I will produce another update

To summarize the errors that have been corrected in the latest update of the MD-CSTS Pink Book:

a)      Section 8.2 should have had a requirement that the mdResponseTimeout parameter have the SvcResponseTimeout data type as specified in the SANA FR registry. A new 8.2.3 has been inserted.

b)     The first sentence of the now-numbered 8.2.4 (was 8.2.3) should have been a NOTE under 8.2.2. The sentence has now been moved to such a NOTE and deleted from 8.2.4.

c)      The first sentence of 8.3.4 is redundant with the NOTE under 8.3.2. It is properly a NOTE and not part of the requirement of 8.3.4, and so has been deleted from 8.3.4.

d)     In Annex B, the ASN.1 comments in the "Object Identifiers and Data Types of the MD-CSTS Provider FR type" replaces the previous normative OID assignments wit comments referencing the SANA OID tree. The new material was made as a cut-and-paste from the equivalent section of the FF-CSTS book. Unfortunately, I didn't make all of the "FF" to "MD" changes, but the updated version has been corrected.

e)     Some references to the SFW B-1 section F4.1 were not updated to the correct SFW B-2 section F3.1.

I will record the errors and associated corrections in the FF-CSTS book in my ongoing collection of errata for that book.

Also, I uncovered two errors in the FRM XML database. I have made the changes in the FRM XML file (attached, along with the associated ASN.1 and DOCX files). The two chages are:

a)      The semantic defintion of the mdProdStat parameter contained the generic defintions. It has been chaged to reflect the refined defintinons of the production status values found in the MD-CSTS book.

b)     The semantic defintion of the tdProdStat parameter contained the generic defintions. It has been chaged to reflect the refined defintinons of the production status values found in the TD-CSTS book.
