I have been out of town for a few days and am just now catching up on my email. I just now read your response to Sylvain, after I sent my note about the difference between the requirements in 3.11.2.3.1 (a), 4.7.4.1.3.1 (a), and 4.8.4.1.3 (a) (which stated that the Parameter|Event Name be returned in case of 'unknown Functional Resource Identifier') and the ASN.1 (which was being changed to return only the FR ID.
In my previous note of a few minutes ago, I was suggesting that the ASN.1 be changed to be consistent with the requirements, in 3.11.2.3.1 (a), 4.7.4.1.3.1 (a), and 4.8.4.1.3 (a). However, it is also perfectly okay with me if instead of returning the complete parameter or event name (ParamOrEventName) only the FR ID (FunctionalResourceIdentifier) is returned, as long as the requirements in 3.11.2.3.1 (a), 4.7.4.1.3.1 (a), and 4.8.4.1.3 (a) are consistent with that approach.

I implemented them all, apart from the last two:
The two diagnostics have been merged and the text reads:
"a) ‘unknown Functional Resource Identifier’ — one or more Functional Resource
Identifier contained in the list-of-events are unknown to the Service Provider (see 4.8.4.1.2.2). The list of unknown Functional Resource Identifiers shall be returned with the diagnostic;"
Please let me know if that's Ok

I had a detailled look at the book and here are the typo, missing references or better wording I had some problem with. Otherwise I found the book good and ok to understand.
- p.4-14: typo in point b) at begin of page "Rather than deleting individual data units end event notifications" replace with "Rather than deleting individual data units and event notifications"
- p.4-40: typo in list of Diagnostic values: the last 3 values are labelled a) b) c) -> should be e) f) g)
- p.4-40: chapter 4.7.4.1.3.2: the Diagnostic extension defined as "CrStartDiagnosticExt" refers to chapter D3.9. But this reference doesn't exit in chapter D3.9, only "crStartNegReturnExt".
"CrStartDiagnosticExt" is also not define in the ASN1 text file
- p.4-41: chapter 4.7.4.2.2.1: the type defined "CyclicReportTransferDataExt" refers to chapter D3.9. But this reference doesn't exit in chapter D3.9, only "crTransferDataInvocDataExt".
"CyclicReportTransferDataExt" is also not define in the ASN1 text file
- p.4-41: chapter 4.7.4.2.2.2: same as chapter 4.7.4.2.2.1
- p.4-48: chapter 4.8.4.1.3: point a) Should not "The list of unknown Event Names" be replaced by "The list of Event names corresponding to the unknow Functional Ressource Type" -> I had some problem to understand the wording there.
- p.4-48: chapter 4.8.4.1.3: point b) should not "The list of unknown Event Names" be replaced by "The list of Event names corresponding to the unknow Functional Ressource Instance" -> I had some problem to understand the wording there.
