The fact that, by using different ways ,you have succeeded to maintain your knowledge and participipation in CCSDS activities and more precisely in my area (CSS) is giving this good result for us:you are a precious support.
I am not sure if that is a good news for the north american forest:they have heard about you capacity to produce a huge amount of publication.Keep them digital...

I am pleased to announce that John Pietras will again be supporting NASA and JPL in the development of CSS SLE standards.  Effective immediately John will be the JPL point of contact for the CSS CSTS specification development.  He will be taking over the tasks and that we carried out by Charles Ruggier and will assume responsibility for any documents that Charles was assigned. Charles will be moving on to other roles within JPL.

Please join me in welcoming John back into the NASA & CCSDS Standards team and in thanking Charles for his support.
