SEA-R-2021-02-01: Request that the CESG approve appointment of Javier de Vicente for the role of DELTA-DIFFERENTIAL ONE WAY RANGING (DELTA-DOR) WG Chair.

The System Engineering Area,

CONSIDERING that:

The Chair of the Delta-DOR WG, James Border, is planning to retire within this year.

And RECOGNIZING that:

The CCSDS Organization and Processes (A02.1-Y-4) Sec 2.3.3.4 defines the process for approval of WG Chairs, and that
The CESG, in Sec 2.3.2.3, is defined as the organization that approves WG Chairs.

and that,

The Delta-DOR WG needs to be led by someone who is sufficiently “senior” in CCSDS and has the requisite technical background and leadership ability.

The SEA AD wishes to thank the current WG Chair, James Border, for his excellent service in support of the D-DOR WG and CCSDS, and that;

The SEA AD wished to ask that the CESG approve the appointment of Javier de Vicente for the role of DELTA-DIFFERENTIAL ONE WAY RANGING (DELTA-DOR) WG Chair.

RESOLVES to request:

That the Secretariat initiate a poll requesting the CESG to approve this request.
