Hi Peter,
                  unfortunately, as with all things legal, the data 
protection issue isn't quite that straightforward, see the following

I'm no lawyer (they don't pay me enough for that) and I'm not going to 
pretend I understand all the ramifications of the GDPR but I think that 
there may be some points that CCSDS at least need to be aware of, 
particularly with respect to data identifying individuals.

Also, please note that the version of this CCSDS 313.2-Y-2 doc that is now 
out for review includes those comments you provided during the telecon,
