Hello Marcin,

At the last teleconference I took an action item to provide some revision of the draft outline of the configuration profile book that you have produced. Don't get too excited as this email does not really do that yet... there is more to the picture than meets the eye!

Having surveyed, but by no means exhaustively, the configuration profile technote I came up with a draft sample spreadsheet capturing the various functional resources versus a sample of the profiles. Each functional resource called out has the same parameters. It is therefore a question of which functional resources are present and if the functional resource is present then the set of parameters is included for the particular service profile identified in the rather impressive configuration technote that John has developed so far.

It occurs to me that we could use something like this (but of course, more completely filled in) to help put together the service agreement/config profile book along the lines of identifying the parameter sets per the functional resources and then a table on top of that indicating which of these sets are used for forward vs return vs radiometric services. The attached spreadsheet could perhaps be a start to that kind of table. There is a lot more to consider, but I thought I would send this to you to see if it sparks further discussion.

Best regards,
-Erik
