Erik,
Colin changed the originatingOrganization entry in table C-2 and replaced stationRef and antennaRef with apertureRef in table D-3 and Listing D-1, but:
- the type for use in table D-1 still needs to be changed to String64, and
- Figure D-2 needs to be updated for the aperatureRef substitution
The change to figure D-2 will be a product of updating the actual schema files trhemselves.
I will update the schema files and make the above changes to the Simple Schedule book and post it back on the CWE today.
John

Colin,
I took a quick look at the updated recommendation and I believe that proper references for blue books controlling the registries can be provided with the exception of the RF assets communications database. To the best of my knowledge, this database was created in SANA at the request of the IOAG and therefore does not have a supporting blue book of any type to define it or indicate a policy for its update. I think something similar happened with the optical comm registry. I will coordinate that with the SE Area and secretariat to resolve this issue.
Just to clarify, it looks like the Annex on the schema type definitions has been updated. Presumably the schema update needed from John is just essentially the schema file (or collection of files), correct?
With respect to CCSDS procedures I consider this to be the "review copy", sent to the AD as the last step prior to a resolution for CESG poll being issued. I will work towards getting the proper registry references identified (for RF + optical comm) and once that is done I believe we can proceed to releasing the book for CESG blue book poll.
Best regards,
-Erik

Dear all,
I've just uploaded the latest draft of the Simple Schedule Red Book, this takes into account the changes that are ongoing with respect to the way which SANA registries are being managed at CCSDS level. This activity hasn't yet been completed so there are a couple of bits highlighted in yellow which will need to be sorted out later. Main impacts of these changes are that there are no longer any Simple Schedule dedicated repositories, all the information we require should be available in existing/in development registries, this has meant a few (relatively) minor tweaks to the data structure;
stationRef and antennaRef have been replaced by one unique identifier,
apertureRef
Type,of originatingOrganization parameter is now string64
Type of user parameter is now string64
Type of apertureRef is string64
I've also tweaked the UML model a bit and various diagrams and text have been updated to reflect the changes required by the registry issue.
In the meantime, subject to the outstanding points on the registries, I think we're pretty much finished except for John updating the XML schema.
What's the next step Erik ?, can we go to CESG yet ?
