Dear All,
        for everybody's sake I would like to recall briefly one "leit
motif" of my approach about the Coordination between SLS AD/DAD and WGs.

As you know - during the work within the WG - I have tried to attend WG
Meeting as far as possible to both reply to questions and to provide my
technical/formal hints.
For the latter case I always tried to make clear if I was talking as AD,
ESA staff or personal opinion.

After completion of the work within the WG (with a WG resolution for
Agency Review, Publication, Project start/change, etc.) I have tried to
respect my AD duties (in strict coordination with Gilles in his quality of
DAD) and particularly (with respect to documents) but not limited to:
- to ensure that CCSDS documents are properly categorized and that they
embody the content and quality expected of documents of their type;
- to ensure that all Area work follows the set of architectural principles
agreed to by the CESG and is properly synchronized with work in other
areas and with the smooth evolution of the large installed base of
CCSDS-compatible mission-support infrastructure;
- etc.

This is the reason why sometimes I needed to interact with WG Chairs and
delay the issue of a relevant Area Resolution.

It shall be kept in mind that, after a WG Resolution, any document becomes
an Area matter NOT any more limited to the WG.

This is particularly important to prepare for polls (both at CESG and CMC
Level) and during polls (e.g. to produce SLS Area coordinated replies to
Conditions, comments, etc.).

I hope that you all will be able to continue in this spirit providing the
best collaboration to Ignacio and Gilles.

Thank you all again for the many year of support.

Gian Paolo
