Dear CCSDS Area Directors and other CESG members, 

Please see below the agreed dates for the CCSDS Spring 2021 Technical and 
CESG meetings. 

Based on the previous 2020 practise I would recommend to hold the 2 CESG 
meetings at 16:00-20:00 CEST (14:00-18:00 UTC). Lotten will invite for 
these meetings.

No objections were raised by the CMC for the proposed dates:

Technical Meetings : 10 - 28 May 2021

I will need to conduct a poll to determine the best dates for the CMC to 
meet as a couple members have conflicts with 15-17 June 2021. Please 
proceed with your plans and The Secretariat will update the public website 
with these dates.

proposed schedule for the 2021 Spring meetings.

Dear Michael, 

My proposal was for the virtual  meetings in 2021 and not 2022 as 
indicated in the email subject. 

Therefore I propose the following: 

Technical Meetings : 10 - 28 May 2021, sessions to be organised by WGs 

CESG Meeting: 7-8 Jun 2021, 2 sessions of 4 hours each day 

CMC Meeting: tbd, e.g. 15-17 Jun 2021, tbd sessions 

This will allow the WGs an extended period of three weeks for their 
technical meetings. There will be one week to prepare the Area reports for 
the subsequent CESG. An then another week to prepare the CESG report for 
CMC. 

Can you please clarify if this proposal meets the agreement of the CMC.

NASA would like to propose the dates of 9-13 May 2022 for the Spring 2022 
CCSDS Technical Meetings and 16 May 2022 for the corresponding CESG 
meeting. At this time, dates for SpaceOps 2022 have not been announced. 
These dates also avoid conflict with Japan’s national holidays, Golden 
Week.

If you are aware of any conflicts with these dates, please let the 
Secretariat know.
