Not exactly true....The packet service from my point of view is little more than moving the framing and COP implementation to a central site. Its not a network service nor the users of such a service need a network service. The packet service is multiplexing any packet that arrive via the service to single link. I just moves the responsibility to a central site. It doesn't change much nor does it provide much other than there is 1 instantiation of the TC framing and COP, unless of cause the station is servicing multiple project user the different antennas. When we get to need a network we we be at your door for DTN.
