Dear Tom,

however there is an editorial that needs fixing. In recommendation 2.3.7 
under recommends (2),  the reference to footnoote 3 somehow lost the 
"superscript" character so that "Category B" now reads "Category B3".

I trust you will fix it without any further reporting ....

The following draft CCSDS Recommended Standard has been placed on 
line for CCSDS Agency review:

  CCSDS 401.0-RP-29.1.  Radio Frequency and Modulation Systems--
                        Part 1: Earth Stations and Spacecraft.
                        Red/Pink Sheets.  Issue 29.1.  August 2019.

DOCUMENT DESCRIPTION:  Numerous concise recommendations appear in the 
notebook volume bearing the number 401.0-B.  Each recommendation is 
dated, and the most recent revision is shown in the table of 
contents.  These Recommendations are developed for conventional 
near-Earth and deep-space missions having moderate communications 
requirements.  The current draft updates recommendation 2.3.7 and 
adds new recommendations 2.1.9 and 2.6.14.


The due date for receipt of review comments by the Review Coordinator 
is 4 October 2019.  Area Directors and WG/BOF Chairs may submit 
review comments directly to the CCSDS Review Coordinator.  More 
information is available at the Web site identified below.

The review document, in Portable Document Format (PDF), and 
associated review materials are available for downloading at the 
following location:

NOTES

1  Per CMC Action Item CMC-A-2007-10-05, agency reviewers are reminded to
  review for compliance with the CCSDS Publications Manual as well as
  technical content.

2  Per CESG Resolution CESG-R-2008-10-006, the CESG no longer conducts
  pre-Agency-review reviews but is instead expected to participate in
  Agency reviews when they are announced.
