Hi Dave,

As discussed last week on the phone, in the frame of the ISO deliverable 
CCSDS  124.0-B, with title "Robust Compression of Fixed-Lengh Housekeeping 
data", ESA will be willing to grant free of charge licenses on a 
non-discriminatory basis and under other reasonable terms and conditions 
to make, use, and sell implementations of the patent application with 
title "Compression and decompression of time series data" (POCKET+, app. 
number PCT/EP2017/052644), for space applications.

The license agreement will have a handling fee, in line with the licenses 
granted for the use of the Operational Software.

I hope this clarifies. Let me know if you need further inputs.
