Dear Nicolas,
RUAG intends to attend with two persons at the workshop. Due to some other obligations and vacation, we are not yet sure who exactly will attend. I will keep you informed. We are also considering a presentation but for the same reasons are not yet sure in detail about the topic.
Kind regards

Betreff: Invitation to workshop on "Optical LEO downlinks and standardization" + agenda
Dear Lasercom People,
You are invited to the workshop on "Optical LEO downlinks and Standardization" in Berlin on May 17th.
This workshop is embedded in CCSDS technical meetings (see details at http://public.ccsds.org/meetings/2011Spring/default.aspx).
Please let me know...
1. If you plan to attend the workshop
2. If you wish to present some slides on a related topic (see the agenda draft blow)
Please forward this invitation to people that you think could contribute to the workshop (national agencies, universities as well as private companies are welcome).
This workshop is an initiative of DLR supported by the DIN (Deutsches Institut für Normung). It is believed that optical LEO downlinks have a great application potential but they require international coordination (interoperability, ground station network).
