Betreff: Invitation to workshop on "Optical LEO downlinks and
standardization" + agenda
Dear Lasercom People,
You are invited to the workshop on Optical LEO downlinks and
Standardization in Berlin on May 17th.
This workshop is embedded in CCSDS technical meetings (see details at
http://public.ccsds.org/meetings/2011Spring/default.aspx).
Please let me know
1. If you plan to attend the workshop
2. If you wish to present some slides on a related topic (see the agenda
draft blow)
Please forward this invitation to people that you think could contribute to
the workshop (national agencies, universities as well as private companies
are welcome).
This workshop is an initiative of DLR supported by the DIN (Deutsches
Institut für Normung). It is believed that optical LEO downlinks have a
great application potential but they require international coordination
(interoperability, ground station network).
