Hi Falk,

Thank you for initiating this. Just two comments from my side:

  1. RTP over DTN BB: in addition to the finalization of the book, please also address the status of the interoperability tests and the related reporting on the yellow book. This is probably something that could be also addressed in tomorrow telco.
  2. Future BB on VQ, if this is finally the direction please make sure to identify the agencies going to provide prototypes (at least 2 are needed).

Regards,

Tomaso

Subject: [Sis-mia] Fall Meeting London - Agenda and Notes

Hello Everybody,
As Beth said, we had a call last week, and we talked about the fall meeting and came up with a brief agenda.

As you all know, we will meet on two days. So we have four slots, and plan the following:
- Tuesday 08:45 - 12:30 1. DTN Blue Book
                             13:00 - 17:00 2. Video Quality I
- Wednesday 08:45 - 12:30 3. Video Quality II
                             13:00 - 17:00    4. BackUp / Group merge MIA <=> Voice
Planned content of the sessions:
              1. In this Session, we would like to discuss and finalize the Blue Book or/and assign tasks to hand-in the book. This is crucial, because we really need to get that book of der finish line, it is overdue!
              2. As the Green Book about Video Quality is already handed-in and shortly before publication, we need to discuss and brainstorm about the direction and content of the VQ BlueBook, in this session. Therefore I would like each group member to give that some thoughts before the meeting, so that we can collect and discuss the different ideas and approaches. (Also if you can't participate, please still, think about the topics, and send me your notes, so that I can collect them and talk about it at the meeting. So your input is highly appreciated!)
              3. It this session, we want to distill a road map for the blue book on video quality and assign action items etc. from the previous session.
               4. The last session of this meeting, could be a mixed bag, and is there 1. As back up session, if something is still open for discussion. Further, in this session we need to talk about the steps for the group merge of the MIA and Voice group. There are some tasks that are necessary, like a new group name, "mission statement" and the book reviews from the voice group, that are also overdue. But this will be discussed in London.

I really looking forward to the meeting! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email me!
Best Falk
