ADs and DADs:

As you know, the NASA support contract for the CCSDS Secretariat has now 
been moved from GST, Inc. to BTAS, Inc. I have been working out-of-band 
over the last few weeks to get relationships established with the new 
contractor and to get the website services restored to normal. There are 
still some serious CCSDS.org deficiencies, including lack of proper 2004 
Spring Meeting information, lack of on-line meeting registration and a 
broken Polling system. However, these problems are incrementally getting 
fixed - for instance, the mail list archives are now working again.

Regarding day-to-day working procedures, you are encouraged to work 
directly with the BTAS Team.  I am trying to get a "welcome package" 
distributed to each of you from the contractor, but meanwhile here is a 
brief introduction to the new people. You can either contact these folk 
individually, or you can address them as a group at <CCSDSGroup at btas.com>:

STEPHEN HARRIS/CCSDS Senior Technical Writer - Mr. Harris performs final 
document edits and assures compliance with CCSDS document standards.  As 
the "CCSDS Chief Rapporteur" he's responsible for coordinating review 
schedules and managing products through the online review process (in 
DocuShare). He's the interface with the AD and WG chairs to support 
documentation efforts.

GARY FORRESTER/CCSDS Senior Information Engineer - Mr. Forrester 
participates in the technical areas, working to review and help develop 
CCSDS recommendations.  He attends WG and BOF activities, and provides 
analysis and reports to the DSWG.

DEBBIE RONNING/CCSDS Senior Administrative Support - Ms. Ronning is 
responsible for supporting the CCSDS Secretariat and ISO TC 20/SC 13 
Secretariat with meeting coordination; coordination of formal secretariat 
correspondence; the maintenance of official databases; and other 
administrative support as required.  Ms. Ronning will provide minutes 
support to the secretariat as directed.

develop CCSDS-related informational and promotional material for public
