[Sis-dtn] [Cesg-all] [Response Required] CCSDS Spring Technical Meeting - Laurel, MD, US - Poll WG Chairs

Amber,

DTN WG will meet Tuesday-Friday (10-13 June), am and pm (0845-1730) each
day. I'm assuming that our attendance will be roughly what it was for the
Fall meetings (I'm assuming that even though the meetings are in the US,
there won't be a significant increase in NASA participants due to
travel/budget restrictions).

We will certainly have a joint meeting with the SEA-Security WG, and likely
a joint meeting with representatives of the CSS area, although neither of
these have been formalized yet. Given the relative sizes of the Working
Groups, it seems reasonable for the DTN WG to host both of these joint
meetings in whatever room we end up in, but that's up to you all.

Thanks!

Best,
Bob

Dear Amber, Fo the CFDP WG I would expect same procedure as last Fall: 1
meeting, 2-3 h, Monday pm, ~5 people If possible, we should try to avoid
overlap with DTN WG and the Video WG (however this is called now). Regards,
Felix From: CESG-All

Laurel, MD, US - Poll WG Chairs

Dear CESG-All Members,

As we prepare for the Spring 2025 Technical Meetings at the Johns Hopkins
Applied Physics Laboratory (APL)

TijtNOaXMB6QdkXdcmGoJmRXuVcpCr9ZiF7VDXJDzM&e=> in Laurel, MD, the CCSDS
Secretariat needs to compile a meeting schedule that will accommodate the
needs of each Area, WG, BoF, or SSG who plan to meet in person. The CCSDS
Technical Meetings will be a 5 Day event from 9-13 June.

The Secretariat believes it is best to poll the CESG-All to request the
needs of each group that will be meeting. This will allow us to better
schedule and assign rooms as well as virtual tools needed based on the needs
and number of participating.

If you are a Chairperson, please respond to me by Monday, 24 March, 2025
with the following information about your group's requirements (please
follow the template shown):

* Which working group is meeting?: CCSDS Optical Comm Working Group

* When would you like to meet?: 0845-1245, 0845-1730, 1230-1730 and
days required (i.e. Mon-Wed, Mon-Fri, Tuesday only)

* Estimate of the number of In-Person Attendees?: 25

* All joint meetings need to be accounted for properly, therefore,
please provide headcount numbers and names of the working groups who will be
meeting as best as possible.

* If you anticipate your schedule remaining the same as your Fall
2024 meeting schedule, please advise.

The Secretariat will then process the requests and assign rooms based on the
identified headcount needs as APL is able to provide conference/breakout
rooms for each group. The plan is for online meeting registration to be
deployed late April.

Please let me know if you have any questions. Looking forward to seeing you
in June!

Thank you,

Amber
