Bob, Jonathan,

I have attempted to fill in the new PICS entries for ION and added a few clarifying comments to the ION entries. I made the changes directly the “summary” spreadsheet in CWE. Please take a look. I assume there are plenty of time to review and discuss these items.

Bob, Jonathan,

I looked at the PICS summary in the spreadsheet on CWE. A few comments,

  1. ION 4.1.3s has just been released and BPSec is now supported. (The initial PICS survey was requested in 2023 when BPSec was still not public, but now it is open source.)

  1. Regarding other new PICS entries, we are reviewing them for ION and will fill them in the coming weeks.
Is there a deadline that I should be aware of to get the updates in? Should I add the update to the spreadsheet direct on CWE?

Regards,
Jay

Good Afternoon Bob,

According to the BPv7 PICS spreadsheet (for JAXA/ION) the following the outstanding requirements include:

  * BPSec (HDTN and ESA supports)
  * Space Packets CLA (ESA and uD3TN supports)
  * EPP CLA (no implementation supports)
  * Forwarding Failed: return to previous node (ESA and Unibo supports in some cases)

Please let me know if you need anything further.

Thanks!

Very Respectfully,

Jonathan Jackson
