[Sis-dtn] Requested Additions to the CCSDS Terms Registry

I’d like to request that the following terms from CCSDS 734x2b1 be included in the CCSDS Terms Registry.  What’s below are all edited versions of the definitions in the Blue Book.

bundle node (also simply ‘node’ or ‘BP node’)
[NOTE: the definition here should also, IMHO, replace the current one for “DTN Node (DTN Router)”]
Any entity that can send and/or receive bundles.  Each bundle node has three conceptual components: a ‘bundle protocol agent’, a set of zero or more ‘convergence layer adapters’, and an ‘application agent’.

bundle protocol agent, BPA
Bundle node component that offers the BP services and executes the procedures of the Bundle Protocol.

convergence layer adapter, CLA
Bundle node component that sends and receives bundles on behalf of the BPA.  A CLA enables the BPA to interact with an underlying data transport mechanism such as a link or network to send and receive bundles.

application agent, AA
Bundle node component that utilizes the BP services to effect communication for some purpose.  The AA has an application-specific element and administrative element.

The application-specific element of an AA constructs, requests transmission of, accepts delivery of, and processes application-specific application data units; the only interface between the BPA and the application-specific element of the AA is the BP service interface.

The administrative element of an AA constructs and requests transmission of administrative records. It accepts delivery of and processes any custody signals that the node receives.
