[Sea-sa] RID processing for RASDSv2 Agency Review. Proposed Final dispositions.

Dear SEA SAWG team, RID submitters, and CCSDS CTE,

Attached are three files containing the edited final version of CCSDS 311.0-P-1.1, the RID disposition spreadsheet, and the updated figures.

CCSDS 311.0-P-1.1

  1.  Track changes was used for the RID disposition in the Word file
  2.  All changes as reflected in the RID disposition sheet have been made to the text
  3.  Comments have been added for each of the figures that must be updated
  4.  Some additional edits, identified during this RID disposition process, have been made to the text

RID Disposition Spreadsheet

  1.  There are two tabs in the Excel file:
     *   one with the initial set of RIDs and proposed dispositions
     *   a second one with added RIDs where a single RID actually affected multiple sections, or where more than one topic was covered
  2.  On the second tab the actual disposition applied for each accepted RID is described
  3.  Where figures needed to be updated these were identified separately so they could be tracked, but the figures are in a separate file

Updated file with figures

  1.  There are several separate files, all bundled in the Updated Figures Archive
  2.  The complete, and updated, set of RASDS figures are in a single PPT file
  3.  Each of the updated figures is provided as a separate PDF file and these match up with notes in the Word doc and the Disposition spreadsheet


Request of the RID submitters and the SAWG

  1.  Please review the revised document (and the revised figures files if you wish) and determine that these changes are acceptable
  2.  We would be happy to hear confirmation of this, but the only feedback we really require is in the event that any of the proposed changes are NOT acceptable.
  3.  After roughly one week, by Friday 4 October 2024, we will take silence as agreement that these revisions are acceptable and will proceed to submit the request to publish

Request of the CTE

  1.  The changes that were required to bring this document into conformance with the RIDs submitted during the Agency review were relatively limited in nature.  Most were “editorial” in nature and none of them were really substantive.
  2.  The text should be ready to go as it is, with the possible exception of some of the cross references and two new Reference documents, which will require your magic.
  3.  You will find separate PDF files for each of the updated figures in the Archive.  You know what to do with these.
  4.  Accordingly, please initiate processing of this revised document and get it ready to submit to the CESG and CMC for approval to publish.
  5.  I will issue a separate formal resolution once the date of 4 Oct 24 has passed without reclama.
