Dear SEA-SA,

Please find attached my version of the spreadsheet for the inputs we received from the CESG members during their review. Most of these are from Erik Barkley. You will find, in col H, my proposed resolutions.

In some cases, notably for EJB 2, 3, 4, 6 I think that there is significant editing that we must do. Erik, quite correctly, pointed out that we allowed this document to be constructed to reflect current elements in the CCSDS organization, MOIMS and SOIS, instead of their functional analogs, "mission operations" and "spacecraft on-board" functions, services, and information sets. None of our other CCSDS documents are constructed in this way, and I agree with Erik that we need to fix it. A certain amount of this can be managed with a GREP, but some other "trowel work" will be needed to smooth the seams. I have the Word doc and will take that on.

There are other global items that I have tackled, as well as the set of security related items (primarily GSFC ones on sec 10.4). There are a number of other PIDs that either affect common sections, like Sec 3, or that affect specific parts of the MO and SO sub-sections. I have indicated which of these I think we ought to tackle. I'd like to ask Roger and Ramon to take a cut at their respective proposed resolutions for these, such that we can discuss them next week.

Now I will do the same for the set of inputs we got in the email from Dan Smith, which were also largely cross-cutting in nature. I'd like to Roger to tackle the inputs from Dan that appear in the marked-up Word doc, and also David Berry. It seems obvious to me that Ramon will deal with the similar inputs from Marek & co. At least that is my first proposal. We could, if anyone wanted to, take the converse approach and have Roger do the first edit of the SO parts and Ramon the first edits of the MO parts. However, that may be a bit radical. Agreed to do it the "natural" way?

Feedback, as always, is welcome.

Thanks, Peter
