Dear SAWG team,
Attached please find the updated draft outline of the ASL ADD, with added <<annotations>>. Hopefully this will make clearer what is intended in each section. As agree this follows the approach we adopted to focus on function, information, services, protocols, physical (nodes), and end-to-end examples. This approach is intended to be "constructive" in that each new viewpoint adds concepts needed for the next, or needed to assemble a complete set of views.
The overall flow follows that which we used in the SCCS-ADD, where concepts are introduced and discussed in the early sections and then elaborated upon in later sections. Thus there may look like there is a certain amount of repetition in the subject matter, but please note the use of words like "briefly", "introduce", and "summarize" in the early sections (1-3). The later section are intended to be rather more complete. Note also the notion of phasing, both to handle the ABA to SSI transitions and the MO terrestrially to MO on-board transition.
Talk to you all tomorrow.
Cheers, Peter
