Subject: CCSDS: Nav Data Message Defn & Conventions, Green Book v3.5.5

Hello Everyone,

Attached please find version 3.5.5 of the Navigation Data Message Definitions and Conventions Green Book in both a TRACK CHANGES version (attached here) and a clean version (next email), the consolidated CRM from version 3.5 (attached here), and a new CRM for version 3.5.5.

I am sending a version 3.5.5 to have something we can all review in Berlin. It is the precursor to version 3.6, which I intend to put out after the discussion in Berlin.

What’s included in version 3.5.5:

  1.  Responses to the comments in the cumulative CRM on version 3.5.
  2.  Additional updates made by me to [hopefully] clarify text and figure descriptions, especially in section 6.

What’s not completed in version 3.5.5:

  1.  Glossary terms
  2.  Properly assigned references
  3.  “Book Editor” required formatting of reference citations

In the cumulative CRM, the color coding is:  Green – complete; light Tan – Complete, but request review; Orange – for discussion.  (There’s one Yellow that refers to the References.) In addition, some of the items were remedied when I received v3.5 from Dale Force, as indicated by “Complete v3.5”; others were remedied in my updates, which I refer to in the CRM as “Complete v3.6”.
