WG status and participation


  *   No replacement yet for Eric (deputy chair nomination by JPL pending)
  *   Sophie (CNES) is now replacing Clement (welcome Sophie!)
  *   Participation from ESA/ESOC pending (Elmar will check)
  *   MP&S Services Blue Book is currently in the publication pipeline with CCSDS Secretariat

Spring Meetings planning


  *   Meetings will take place 25-29 May in Mayaguez University, Puerto Rico
  *   Current availability (please inform Peter in case of additions/changes):

     *   Peter: in person
     *   Christoph: online
     *   Dave: online
     *   Geoff: in person (TBC)
     *   Guillermo: in person (optional)
     *   Maria: online
     *   Olly: in person
     *   Sophie: online

  *   Time difference with CET is -05:00, as such European participation will be mornings only
  *   A coordination meeting with SM&C on MO/MAL/Testbed maintenance and evolution is foreseen
  *   Other meetings with CCSDS Editors, SANA could be planned
  *   CCSDS Secretariat needs to be informed about MP&S attendance by 6 March (for meeting rooms planning)

Magenta Book section 3 (Information Model) discussion


  *   The current draft of the MB can be found here: https://drive.google.com/drive/u/0/folders/1vf9Hf4y3laI0A7_e0FtGFB9KOiwUF09F
  *   UML Diagrams

     *   In general, the diagrams are well received and considered better readable
     *   The descriptive text should be Informative, as such could be started with a "Discussion" section heading

  *   State Transition Tables

     *   In general, the tables are considered clear
     *   The labels for the transitions by Planning Function and Plan Execution Function could be improved (not using past tense)

  *   Optional Table on Service Support Data Types (table 3-2)

     *   The signature information seems to be confusing, and the column should be removed
     *   Instead, a short textual description could be provided
     *   Final decision to include these tables on all service objects is not yet taken - for consideration by the WG

Magenta Book section 4 (Use Cases)


  *   Working document can be found here: https://drive.google.com/drive/u/0/folders/1vf9Hf4y3laI0A7_e0FtGFB9KOiwUF09F
  *   The tabular example was considered too much resembling the test cases (from the Yellow Book) and as such discarded by the WG
  *   The descriptive example provided by Peter was appreciated by the WG
  *   Guillermo has started providing additional use cases with the same approach
  *   It was proposed to group the major use cases, and then have more specific use cases per group (possibly including failure cases)
  *   Guillermo to work on the use cases before the next WG meeting
  *   Peter to support Guillermo on this, and to include the draft use cases in the MB with the proper formatting

  *   Google Drive: the link provides standard read-only access, write access is provided to a limited list (send an email to Peter if you need write access)
  *   Next WG meeting: Tuesday March 24th 16:00 - 18:00, Peter to send the WebEx invite
