Minutes

1. Blue Book status and way forward

Roger has made available on the Gdrive an updated Blue Book (draft F) and
an updated Information Model (EA model draft S). For a detailed
description of the changes, refer to the email from Roger dated
29/11/2021.

The changes to the BB and EA model were presented by Roger. Tony asked if
the latest XML Schemas are available. Roger will provide these on the
Gdrive.

Some work is remaining on the EA model and the automated XML Schema
generation, in particular with the work-around to preserve the attribute
order in the generated schemas. Roger showed some additional capabilities
of schema validation, e.g. with restrictions and choices. The WG confirmed
that having more advanced XML Schema validation is considered beneficial.
Note that this goes beyond the definitions in the Information Model. Peter
still has some open actions regarding the XML Schemas, e.g. on the use of
namespaces and the mapping of the MAL::List type.

It is currently planned that the MP&S Blue Book will be submitted for
Agencies Review in Q1 2022. For this, the referenced SANA artefacts (MP&S
namespace(s), XML Schemas and XML Service Specifications) shall be
available in the SANA Beta Registry. The BB review will be done with
assumptions on the (agreed) MAL evolution. These assumptions shall be
listed in the Red Book. In case the final MAL changes are not in line with
the assumptions made, then a second Agencies Review could be necessary.
However, with the currently planned public review, the majority of the
MP&S standard is stable and can be reviewed.

Publication of the MP&S Blue Book can not take place before the
publication of the updated MAL BB, planned for end 2022. As such, the
currently planned publication date for the MP&S Blue Book is also the end
of 2022.

2. Prototyping status and way forward

ESOC will resume the work on the prototyping next week. DLR have
implemented the report generation, for ESOC to review. For the Yellow
Book, Guillermo will provide the XML tables in the issue 2.1 of the Yellow
Book, available on the Gdrive. Next regular prototyping meeting will be 16
December 2021.

3. AOB

Next MP&S WG meeting planned for Tuesday 18 January 2022, 16:00 - 18:00
CET. Peter to send the WebEx invitation.
