Hi All,

Attached are copies of the EAST updates.
These updates were originated I believe by CNES a long time ago and the
updates were agreed at that time.
Since then through various CCSDS Editors, CCSDS Reorgs, etc., these
updates apparantly never received the final blessing.
Tom Gannett has now provided the pink pages in the current CCSDS
publication format.

Would everyone please review these and let me know if you approve these
for publication or if there is any problem.
Since this is only a few pages, please review these by next week and
send me your response.
If I do not see any negative responses, I will ask Nestor to send a
resolution through CESG and CMC to publish these
pink sheets as part of a new EAST Blue Book Issue 3.

Cheers,
-JOhn

John:

The EAST book as modified by known RIDs is attached.

GSFC RID #3 proposed modification of text that was also modified by
an INPE RID (third in attached file). Where the two RIDs were in
conflict, I applied the disposition of the INPE comment. You should
verify reference to example 3-13 rather than 3-12 is OK.

I got a copy of the INPE dispositions only because Eduardo CCed the
Secretariat when he sent the RIDs to the review coordinator.

Concerning the other Agencies, I found a late response from Jean-Marc
that there were no CNES RIDs. ESA and JAXA also reported they had no RIDs.

If we go with the assumption that it is improbable any of the other
Agencies would have had RIDs, the only thing needed to start the
approval process for issue 3 is a resolution from Nestor.
