[Moims-ipr] Toulouse Fall Meeting Dates

All,

We have had some difficulty settling on a date for the Fall
meetings of the DAI and IPR WGs due to conflicts in schedules
and some unavoidable delay in getting out the IPR XFDU
book.  We are now planning to have these meetings in Toulouse
beginning Tuesday, 2 November.  If possible, the IPR part
may extend into the weekend (Nov. 7-8).

Please respond ASAP with your expected attendance, and the approximate
titles and time slots for any proposed presentations.  Here is a
first cut at an overall agenda  - please comment:

 Nov 2 - Opening Plenary - Agency reports (2 hours), 
 "Producer-Archive Interface Formal Definition and Transfer Phase
Specification” presentation/discussion(4 hours), XFDU Presentation (2 hours)
 Nov 3 - Parallel DAI and IPR WG sessions
 Nov 4- Joint DAI/IPR meeting
            - Reports from November 3 meeting
            - OAIS Update
            -Implementation goals,plans and schedules
            -XFDU plans and dependencies
            -Registry/Repository Goals
            -Version 2 functionality-> Prototype goals eg(we may need
                 simple behavior and/or web services in V1)
 November 5- XFDU Editor and Implementor workshop
 Nomber 6-7- Informal editing/implementation activities
 November 8 - XFDU Editor and Implementor workshop

 Goals of IPR implementor/editor Workshop:

 XFDU namespace and identifiers decisions
 System Requirements to be addressed (size, speed, errorhandling etc)
 Which implementations are leads on various systems requirements
 Interoperability Profile
 XFDU schema edits and dependency on prototype/implementation results
 Behavior issues

 This assumes a good agency WG review of the Sept XFDU White Book
