However, the Teams site tells me that

One could buy a Teams account, or a Zoom account.  Both talk about a price per user. I think users are different from participants in a meeting. For example, Teams says a personal home plan includes:
    
   - For one person
   - Group calling for up to 30 hours and 300 participants
 
  
 
I found Top 7 Best Open Source Skype Alternatives In 2025 which lists a number of Skype replacements. However only a couple actually do group videoconferences.
 
  
 
We should test a few things out in the next few weeks - need at least 3 volunteers to do this.
