[Moims-dai] SANA registry - terms

In the DAI telecon today some folks asked for info on the terms and
definitions in SANA.  

 

The overall registry is at www.sanaregistry.org

>From there, select 50 Approved Registries > CCSDS Terms.  That brings you
here:

Where there are 1,489 terms (current count).  

 

The user interface is not intuitive.  Of course, you can just browse.  But
if you want to search for a term.

*	Click Show/Hide filter(s)
*	Then under Term, type in the term that you're looking for.  
*	"Is Equal to" (exact match) is the default but you can change that
to "includes" and other options. 
*	For example Archive (two definitions show up).  
*	"References" tells you which book they're included in.  
*	Then, to search for another term, you have to go back to Show/Hide
filter(s) again.  

 

Interesting. it says at the top of the page that the policy is to include
only terms from Blue Books.  I wonder about normative Magenta books, not to
mention Green Books.  

 

Also under Approved registries is CCSDS Abbreviations (acronyms).  (1,735
entries)
