Draft Agenda

1.	Report to CMC on status of DAI WG Future -
https://www.dropbox.com/s/5s0di6notnkpc3s/MOIMS-DAI%20WG%20Report%20to%20the
%20CMC%2020170228.pdf?dl=0 - this was delivered on 1st March

*	Email from Nestor last week:

wrt the DAI WG Report to CMC

The CESG Chair has asked the CMC to put the DAI proposals for resolution on
"hold", until the CESG evaluates them and recommends a way forward to the
CMC i.e.

DAI Architecture: Roger Thompson and Peter Shames are looking into the DAI
notional architecture. They will give feedback to the CESG, who will discuss
it during the next CESG meeting (8th June)

Parallel ISO / CCSDS Reviews: CESG will discuss it during the next CESG
meeting (8th June)

*	I replied pointing out that Roger's diagrams and the report to CMC
are complementary because of which we agreed to take lots of DAI details out
of Roger's diagrams

2.	Roger Thompson will join our webex THIS WEEK (18th April) - let us
allow 30 mins. Before this please look at
https://www.dropbox.com/s/pgeulge3ewntldl/Data%20Storage%20and%20Archiving-2
0170330.pptx?dl=0 Roger wrote:

*	I grouped all the relevant diagrams into one presentation for your
convenience - it contains Functional, Information, Service and Protocol
viewpoints for the Data Archive area.
*	I have revised the functional diagram as discussed.
*	I have added a top-level MOIMS Data diagram that shows root data for
all MOIMS functional areas.
*	I have added a Data Archiving Data diagram that is a high-level
abstraction of the OAIS set of diagrams, along the lines of your sketch. I
had more, but in the end decided this got into too much detail for the green
book [its already going to be quite large] - and went for a single diagram.
*	I have added a couple of Protocol diagrams that try to catch your
layering approach - not sure it quite fits with the others, as all the
actual communications layer protocols are hidden within the existing
legacy/proprietary Archive interfaces. If the adaptation occurred within
the Archive Node, this would not be the case (it would be much more like the
MO stack). Let me know if you think this is OK.

3.	IPELTU see latest doc at

x?dl=0 - PLEASE READ THE DOCUMENT

Last week there was an action: Agree that DAI WG should submit changes by
next week Tuesday. Then DG will send to RDA. Then middle of next week send
to Area Director. We will be 2 months behind CWE schedule.

4.	If we have time - OAIS Update (and ISO 16363 Update)
(http://review.oais.info/) (10 Minutes) Work on Suggested Changes

*	New ones flagged with "Normal" level of difficulty

*	18, 20, 21, 23, 84, 100, 117, 127, 133, 200

*	Advanced consideration: 135
