Dear CCSDS / LIF team,
This is a “test message” to this mailing list, but also a real request.
I would like to propose to give a short talk to the assembled LIF crew on a set of proposed functions, abstract architecture, and needed new standards to provide DTN services to enable secure interoperability among multiple agencies and commercial entities at the Moon (and Mars…). It will touch on governance topics as well. This will be based on preliminary discussions that have been held in CCSDS, IOAG, and DTN venues.
I expect contributors to include: Daniel Fischer, Howie Weiss, Bob Durst, Ed Birrane, Tamer Refaei, and possibly Jay Wyatt and others from the NASA DTN team. I hope that there are related talks proposed by others in this list on DTN interoperability developments, DTN security standard developments, and DTN network management standards.
More on this later once there is some formal announcement of a request for contributed talks at the LIF.
Thanks, Peter
