Holger-san,
I am sorry for having attended CSTS telecon after agenda in Berlin was
decided.
As I had very short presentation last year, JAXA will adopt gateway
approach in order to
have interoperability with legacy mission operations systems. APIs are
beneficial for interface between
CSTSes and these systems.
One of big discussion points in Berlin is whether CSTS APIs should be
also standardized like SLE APIs.
JAXA developed SLE gateways in JAVA before publication of SLE APIs books
and will be also able to do
CSTSes without standardizing APIs. If there is plan of APIs to
interchange software components,
JAXA will develop gateway based on these APIs.
Regarding UML/SysML issue, I refered to UML/SysML documentation (not
standardization)
for interchangeable software components, because I have thought CSTS
APIs can be standardized
like SLE APIs.. Without CSTS APIs books, UML/SysML information is just
enough to show practices
from agencies.
Anyway, I will send slides including this discussion point above one
week before meeting in Berlin.
