CSTSWG colleagues ---

In the most-recent (December) draft CSTSFW, the Notification procedure
START invocation contains a list-of-events parameter that specifies the
notifiable events that are to be reported by the procedure upon their
occurrence. However, the diagnostic section for the START operation uses
"list of parameter" and "monitorable events" terminology. These need to
be changed to use the correct terminology. Specifically:

a) Section 4.10.4.1.2.3, item (a), states:

"'unknown names' - one or more parameters contained in the
list-of-parameters is unknown to the Service Provider: the list of
unknown parameter names shall be returned with the diagnostic;"

This should read:

"'unknown names' - one or more notifiable events contained in the
list-of-events is unknown to the Service Provider: the list of unknown
notifiable event names shall be returned with the diagnostic;"

b) Section 4.10.4.1.2.3, item (b), states:

" 'maximum number exceeded' - the number of names specified by the
invocation exceeds the maximum number of monitorable events: the maximum
number of events supported by the Service Provider shall be returned
with the diagnostic;"

This should read:

" 'maximum number exceeded' - the number of names specified by the
invocation exceeds the maximum number of notifiable events: the maximum
number of events supported by the Service Provider shall be returned
with the diagnostic;"

Best regards,

John
