Dear Tom,,

After careful analysis of any conceivable impact this changes could possibly
have on any existing implementations, we came to the conclusion that the
discovered inconsistencies should be corrected by means of an editorial
change as you outline below. Thank you for taking care of this. If you
require any further input beyond the corrected module that I had sent to you
already, please let me know.

Best regards,

Wolfgang

Dear Wolfgang:

FSP and F-CLTU have already been approved and published, so whatever is
done will have to be done to all five books. Corrigenda would be the
obvious approach, but if the change is truly editorial (i.e., if there
is no technical impact to making the change), we could implement it as
an editorial change in the documents. That would involve simply
updating the books with the corrected module and making note of the
change on the document control page. Treating the change as an
editorial change would obviate CESG/CMC approval and speed things up
considerably, but I defer to you on the question of whether the change
can be considered anything more than editorial (in which case we would
be obliged to pursue the more formal corrigendum approach).

Best regards,
Tom
