[CMC] FW: Request for MOIMS Deputy Area Director nominees

Dear CMC Members,

 

We have received one candidate nomination for the role of the MOIMS Deputy
Area Director.

 

Mr. Stefan Gärtner has been nominated by DLR.  

He is a senior ground segment system engineer and has been active in
CCSDS/MOIMS since 2013. Specifically, he is s one of the main drivers behind
the Spacecraft Monitoring & Control services set of standards. Mr. Gärtner
has also been actively promoting CCSDS standards implementation and adoption
through various fora including publications in high-profile conferences and
journals.

 

Please find attached the nomination documents submitted by the DLR CMC
representative.

 

I would kindly ask to take the opportunity of the upcoming CMC meetings to
take a vote on the nomination.

The Mission Operations and Information Management Services (MOIMS) Area no
longer has a Deputy Area Director.  The MOIMS wishes to request the CCSDS
Member Agency Heads of Delegation to propose candidates for this position. 

 

Please forward the names and resumes of any candidates to the MOIMS Area

May 2024.
