[CMC] Request for nominees, CSS Deputy Area Director

On the ESA side, we would like to nominate Mr. Holger Dreihahn as candidate for the position of CSS Deputy Area Director.

As detailed in his CV, Mr. Dreihahn is involved in the CSS Area since 2011; as of 2019 as the Working Chair of the Cross Support Transfer Services (CSTS) Working Group. Mr. Dreihahn is well known within CCSDS and has substantially contributed to the achievements of the CSTS Working Group in the last years, qualifying him as a very suitable candidate for the role of the CSS Deputy Area Director.

Dear CMC Colleagues,

I have the rather unfortunate duty to inform you that the current CSS Area Deputy Area Director, Colin Haddow, will be retiring and stepping down at the end of the Spring 2022 meetings.   Colin has done truly excellent work in CCSDS and I shall miss him.

This means that there will soon be a vacancy with regard to the CSS Deputy Area Director.  Therefore I hereby respectfully request nominations for a suitable candidate from the CMC.  If possible, nominations by May 2, 2022 will be much appreciated.  The technical goals of the CSS Area can be found here:  https://cwe.ccsds.org/fm/sp/Lists/CSSContent/AllItems.aspx .  The duties of an Deputy Area Directory are described in here: https://public.ccsds.org/Pubs/A02x1y4c2.pdf , section 2.3.2.4.4.
