Dear Michael-san,
Thank you for your response.
The week of April 27 is certainly preferable for JAXA to the week of May 4, if it also suit other agencies.
Thank you again for our arrangement on this matter.........Shigeta

Dear Shigeta-san,
Unfortunately this time of year is difficult to schedule. 20-24 April 2020 OMG is holding Science Services, Time Signals and Frequency Standard Emissions, Space Radiocommunication Applications, Remote Sensing Systems, and Radio Astronomy Working Group Meetings. The week of April 27 would be a possibility, but it would also overlap with your national holidays. If the week of April 27 would be preferred by JAXA, we will look at the possibility.
Best regards,
Michael Blackwood

Dear Michael-san,
Further to my message below,
I am aware that the SpaceOPS2020 takes place in the week of May 18, therefore, weeks of both May 18 and 11 are not comfortable for many CCSDS participants who are planning to participate in the SpaceOPS.
Other options might be the week of April 20 or April 27.
Last option is the proposed May 4........
Regards...Shigeta

Dear Michael-san,
Thank you for your inquiry about the proposed dates of the spring 2020 Technical and CESG meetings in Alabama.
I wonder if NASA could postpone the meeting to the next week or next next week.
>From the end of April to the first week of May, we have a big national holiday in Japan and air tickets become extremely expensive and hard to get. If the meeting is held during this period, it will become very difficult for JAXA members to participate in the meeting. We will greatly appreciate it if you could change the schedule to avoid this week, specifically from April 29 to May 6, 2020.
Thank you in advance for your considerations........Shigeta

Dear CMC Members,
NASA has arranged to host the spring 2020 Technical and CESG Meetings in Huntsville, Alabama at the Westin Huntsville Hotel. The proposed dates for the meetings are 4-8 May 2020 (5-day technical meetings) followed by the CESG meeting on Monday, 11 May 2020. Please let me know of any potential conflicts with these dates by Thursday, 4 July 2019.
I have attached a presentation created by Rodney Grubbs with information about the meeting venue, the surrounding area, and the Huntsville airport. A block of 75 rooms at the Westin Huntsville will be reserved at a reduced rate for meeting attendees.
Best regards,
Michael Blackwood
