Dear CMC Members,
please consider that SLS-C&S WG has identified a suitable
candidate - supported by NASA - for the Deputy Chair position.
Can other Agency Representative provide additional proposed candidates, if
any.
Provision of input by 29 October COB is required for efficient planning
of the Fall 2015 meetings in Darmstadt.
Thank you all and best regards
Gian Paolo Calzolari
SLS Area Director

Subject: CCSDS C&S WG deputy-chair
Dear Gian Paolo and Nestor,
following the Pasadena meeting and subsequent discussions, Ken Andrews
(NASA/JPL) has accepted to be deputy-chair for the C&S WG.
I would like to formalize this at the Darmstadt meeting.
Given Ken's expertise in the coding area, such a choice should be easily
acceptable by all other WG members.
Nevertheless, I understand that CCSDS rules require a verification at CESG
(also CMC?) level, to poll other Agencies in case they would like to
propose different candidates.
May I please ask you to bring this point to CESG (CMC?) so that we can
proceed?
Best regards,
Massimo
